Music and Praise
Music is important to the worshipping life of the Christian community. Through music, we witness to the Trinity’s work in and among us. Through music, we praise God and feel the love of Jesus and the movement of the Holy Spirit. God’s children of all ages learn God’s Word through music.
Praise Choir
The Zion Praise Choir assists us in worshipping and praising God through music. Martin Luther said, “Music is the art of the prophets and the gift of God.” The choir includes adults and youth. All abilities are welcome to participate any time (ongoing basis or for Christmas or Easter). Practices are on Sunday mornings before worship at 8:00 a.m.
Zion Bells
This is a relatively new group of bell ringers under the direction of Paul Untiet. They practice Sunday after worship and include youth and adults.
Voice and Instrumental Music
Do you have the gift of music, either voice or instrumental? Soloist and ensemble music is encouraged. Youth and young adults are welcome to participate in worship through their musical talents.
