Young Adults are continually in a stage of transition and transformation. The Church is here to support them in this stage of their lives. Experiences of service and learning across the world are foundational to their faith growth and their relationship to Jesus and a diversity of people across the world.
Young Adult Group
If you are interested in participating in a young adult group, contact Interim Pastor Andrea Fluegel for more information.
College Students
College students are important to the life of the Christian community. Cards and care packages are sent to college students to connect and strengthen their relationship with the church body and with Jesus while they are at college. Please contact the church office to update your address and contact information. Students are also encouraged to connect with their campus pastor or chaplain.
The ELCA Young Adults in Global Mission program invites ELCA young adults ages 21-29 into a transformative, year-long journey in international service. As they offer themselves in service, ELCA young adults are shaped by the witness of our global neighbors. They share in the journeys of companion churches and organizations in one of nine countries around the world.
A year of service through the Young Adults in Global Mission program invites young adults to become the hands and feet of Jesus in the world, providing critical support to ministries and projects in communities of need. It also invites volunteers into a journey of self-reflection, providing space to consider their sense of identity, God’s work in the world, and their place within it all.
Outdoor Ministry
There are a variety of opportunities across the country for young adults to make a difference in the world. One of the opportunities is in outdoor ministry. All types of skills are needed for seasonal or year-long employment.
