Infant – Preschool

Young children and their families are an important part of the Church. They learn to become followers of Jesus through interaction with supportive and caring youth and adults, through worship and music, through age-appropriate games, crafts and Bible stories. Families grow in faith together.

Baptism

God has named and claimed each of us. Baptism is about acknowledging that and surrounding the child with a supportive community that will all take part in passing on faith to that child. We all – parents, sponsors, other family members, and congregational members make promises to be faithful role models and mentors.  If you are interested in having your child baptized, please contact Pastor Amy Heinz.

Parental Support

From ages 0-36 months, parents will receive information about early childhood development and faith practices.

Worship

Families with young children are invited to fully participate in worship! Children enhance the worship experience. They learn about worship by seeing their parents and other role models participating in worship. “Children’s bags” are available to keep hands and minds occupied during worship. A children’s message, as well as other opportunities, are available so that the youngest members of the community are able to participate actively in worship.
