Welcome To Zion Lutheran Stratford

For more than 125+ years, this community of faith seeks a meaningful life with an unshakable center in Jesus Christ.
It is our calling from God in Christ that gives us our identity.

It is God’s Spirit that moves us through worship, education, and mission to develop healthy families and communities.
You are important to God.

Come and explore your relationship with Jesus and with others in a caring and supportive, loving and grace-filled community.

Weddings

The wedding celebration is an act of joyful worship. It is a reflection of your relationship with the God of love and an occasion for asking God’s blessing on your life together. For more information on weddings, contact the church office.

God Moments

Where do you see God in your life? Take a picture, write a poem or a short paragraph. Feel free to post pictures or your writings on the bulletin board by the south sanctuary entrance. You are also welcome to post on Facebook or Instagram and tag Zion Lutheran Church Stratford and use #ZionGodMoments.

Giving

Giving and generosity are important spiritual practices. Together, our financial support fuels the mission and ministry of Jesus, locally, nationally, and in the world. For more information on how to give generously, check out the “Give” section.

Zion Membership Contact Form

As part of the transition process in calling a new permanent pastor to Zion Lutheran Church, we are updating our membership information and need your help. Over the past two years, due to COVID, we feel like we are disconnected from one another. By having current household information, we will be better able to stay connected and communicate with each other. Please take the time to complete the membership form for members of your household.

Call Committee

Due to the retirement of our minister of 20+ years, we are seeking a pastor to help us continue to grow as individuals, family, and community. With a strong foundation of almost 125 years, we are a multi-generational church in a small Wisconsin community. We pray for an individual with passion to support the faith journeys of our children, youth, families and seasoned members.

Justice and Shalom

Justice and Shalom

When we think or talk about the Holy Spirit, the activity and characteristics of justice and peace don’t usually come to mind. Instead, we usually think of the Holy Spirit’s activity as being an advocate that intercedes for us individually, of giving spiritual gifts and talents, and of guiding us in the ways of Jesus. And yes, the Holy Spirit does those things, but the Holy Spirit also is the advocate for and intercedes for the whole community and guides the whole community collectively in the ways of Jesus in terms of justice and peace.
